Yes and no. Sometimes in waverer coats you will see some mild shedding, but the curlier coats generally do not shed at all.

Last I read 15 years. When you cross two pure bred dogs you get a hybrid (not a mut 
) you get a healthier dog. The average lifespan of second generation goldendoodles (either goldendoodle + goldendoodle, goldendoodle + poodle, etc.) you loose some of the longevity of life.
